Hay cosas que por más que trato de escuchar, leer diferentes perspectivas — sé que hacen sentido. Y no solo eso: he vivido experiencias de primera mano en donde pude ver cómo se comunica y cómo funciona el proceso de toma de información de la mayoría de la gente.
There are things that, no matter how much I try to listen, to read different perspectives — I know they make sense. And not only that: I've lived firsthand experiences where I could see how most people communicate and how their process of taking in information works.
Y me asusta. Me siento muy vulnerable ante eso. Porque sé que no hay manera de saber con certeza la realidad de lo que sí está pasando.
And it scares me. I feel very vulnerable in the face of it. Because I know there's no way to know with certainty the reality of what is actually happening.

Eso ya lo sabemos. Sabemos que mienten. Sabemos que hay intereses de por medio.
We already know that. We know they lie. We know there are interests at play.
El problema hoy es otro: leer entre líneas y atar cabos. Esa es la habilidad que quizás hoy nos puede llevar a comprender aunque sea una parte de la realidad.
The problem today is another one: reading between the lines and connecting the dots. That's the skill that today might lead us to grasp at least part of reality.
Sé que hay maneras de aproximarnos — y la principal es siguiendo el dinero. Pero incluso eso me parece complejo, porque aún siguiendo el dinero se presentan cosas que ni siquiera son reales.
I know there are ways to get closer — and the main one is following the money. But even that seems complex to me, because even when you follow the money, things are presented that aren't even real.

Meanwhile, today people are talking about a less serious problem for those at the top of the list. Immigration. Puerto Rico. Hispanics. Etc.
¿Cuál es el problema que está siendo cubierto?
What is the problem that's being covered up?
Lo que se está exponiendo indica que los de arriba en la lista no son quienes realmente controlan la narrativa. Salieron los 2 millones de páginas — y el nombre que más aparece no es el de quien ocupa la presidencia del país más poderoso del mundo.
What's being exposed indicates that those at the top of the list aren't the ones who really control the narrative. The 2 million pages came out — and the name that appears most isn't that of the person who holds the presidency of the most powerful country in the world.
